Regent Cruises Refurbishment Underway

The planned $40M Regent Cruises refurbishment is underway having seen Seven Seas Voyager in dry dock during December 2008 and Seven Seas Mariner in January 2009, there is only Seven Seas Navigator left to be overhauled. This will take place early this year.

The Regent Cruises refurbishment is to enhance the ships to make the passengers cruise experience even more special.

Franki Valli Private Performance

Regent Seven Seas Cruises have announced that performers Franki Valli and the Four Seasons will be boarding Seven Seas Voyager for a private performance. They will board the ship on 12th January 2009 in Los Angeles ready to embark on a World Cruise the following day. $40 Million Refurbishment

Regent Seven Seas Cruises has announced plans to invest $40 million in enhancing and refurbishing three of its vessels. The vessels due to undergo refurbishment are Seven Seas Voyager, Seven Seas Mariner and Seven Seas Navigator. Refurbishment will begin on Seven Seas Voyager in December 2008, followed by Seven Seas Mariner in January 2009 and finally Seven Seas Navigator in the early part of 2010. RSSC Masterpiece Series 2009

Regent Seven Seas Cruises has launches it’s Masterpiece Series for 2009. This is a collection of 27 cruises in Africa, Far East, South America and Polynesia onboard Seven Seas Voyager and Seven Seas Mariner. The cruises are to range from 7 nights to 121 nights and offer guests the chance to see the world whilst making the most of relaxation. There is flexibility there for guests to make their own cruise by combining any two up to seven individual cruises together totally a maximum of 121 nights.

RSSC Launch 2009 Cruise Atlas

Regent Seven Seas Cruises have announced the launch of their 2009 Cruise Atlas. They are to launch the atlas early due to the increase in demand for the 2009 season. The Cruise Atlas will feature all essential cruise information, itineraries and price lists for the entire 2009 cruise calendar. In 2009 RSSC are to offer even more 10 and 11 night Mediterranean cruises due to increased demand. Seven Seas Voyager will also take over the Discovery Collection in 2009 which was previously for Seven Seas Navigator; this allows more guests to come onboard with an additional 105 suites available.

Apollo Buy Regent Seven Seas

Regent Seven Seas have been purchased by equity company, Apollo Management, for a fee that has yet to be disclosed. Five-star cruise line Regent Seven Seas were formed in 1992 following a merger between Radisson cruises and Seven Sea Cruises. Their fleet consists of four ships, Seven Seas Navigator, Seven Seas Voyager, Seven Seas Mariner and Paul Gauguin. All four vessels are designed to cater for hundreds, rather than thousands, of guests with the cruise line offering cruises to over 300 ports on six continents.
